The only thing certain about 2025 is the uncertainty that comes from a new Congress and president, especially one promising to make significant changes to many institutions and systems that have been in place for generations. Change is often scary because we can not know for sure the outcomes. But change is also necessary. And it creates opportunity.
NCRC will not only look for those opportunities – we’ll create them by building community capacity and agency. We’ll continue to work with and for our 739 member organizations across the country to have real impact for real people. And we’ll continue to push legislatures and regulators to uphold and expand consumer protections and fair lending and fair housing laws.
