 As we welcome the New Year, I hope you and your loved ones have had a joyous Christmas season filled with peace, laughter, and cherished memories. The transition into a new year is a time to celebrate the blessings of the past, embrace the possibilities ahead, and renew our commitment to the goals and values we hold dear.
This year brings not only personal renewal but also the start of a new legislative session. I am honored to serve as Chair of the House Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee and look forward to working within the unique dynamic of a tied legislature. While this presents challenges, it also offers an incredible opportunity to foster collaboration and work toward meaningful, bipartisan solutions that benefit our state and its future.
