In West Virginia, we celebrated the passage of a ballot amendment protecting against physician-assisted suicide. Meanwhile, in South Dakota, voters soundly defeated the pro-abortion amendment by an overwhelming 60-40 margin, and Nebraska passed a 12-week abortion ban, further defeating abortion-on-demand. These victories remind us that the American people are still standing up for life and protecting the vulnerable.
Victory in Florida: Defeating Amendment 4
Americans United for Life played a critical role in defeating Amendment 4 in Florida, which would have enshrined abortion access in the state constitution. By helping to rally grassroots advocates and providing key fundraising support, we ensured that the sanctity of life remains protected in the Sunshine State.
