Hi John,
Mark your calendar for the Pittsburgh DSA August Business Meeting, on Monday, August 19th from 7-9pm at Community Forge, 1256 Franklin Ave, Pittsburgh, PA.
New Member (or Just Curious)?
There will be a new-and-not-yet member orientation immediately beforehand at 6:30 pm – join us then to learn more about the chapter and meet your comrades, or feel free to bring an interested friend!
Happening at the Meeting
-
Endorsements! - Darnika Reed will be seeking the DSA’s endorsement for School Board Director in the Woodland Hills School District. Our Elections and Pressure Campaigns Committee has met with her, collected her Questionnaire answers and prepared an Endorsement Report. Be there to hear from her and cast your vote!
-
National DSA Convention Recap - You all worked hard to help us raise enough money to send 20 great delegates to represent Pittsburgh DSA at the National DSA Convention in Atlanta. Now, hear what they learned, what they accomplished, and how we can all help carry those lessons and accomplishments forward.
-
Educational Segment - Hosted by the Labor Committee
Special Guest - Join Us After the Meeting
After the meeting Monday night we will have a meet-up with one of our new National Political Committee members, Jen M., at Primanti's on 5491 Penn Ave. Feel free to join us there and relax over food or drinks with comrades after the meeting!
Primanti's is easily accessible from Community Forge by the 71C or P1 bus lines.
