Dear John,
As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on the amazing work we’ve accomplished together to protect the Bears Ears National Monument.
This year, with your steadfast support, we:
-
Strengthened Tribal Co-Management: Enabled the five Tribal nations of the Bears Ears Commission to inform collaborative stewardship efforts with federal agencies.
-
Protected Cultural Resources: Advocated for planning strategies that safeguard sacred sites and integrated Traditional Indigenous Knowledge into land management planning.
-
Inspired Future Land Stewards: Expanded the Native American Leadership Development (NALD) internship program, empowering the next generation to carry forward this vital work with 3 new interns.
-
Fostered Community Connections: Hosted cultural exchange visits and educational programs, deepening ties to the land and its stories.
These accomplishments were possible because of you.
