Your generosity impacts people like Teresa. In her country many people cannot afford — or even access — basic care and supplies. At a vision clinic, hosted by an Unto staff team, Teresa was able to receive a pair of eyeglasses so she could finally see clearly. She also heard about Jesus and responded in faith.
Teresa shared about the struggles she was facing. Her son had just been released from the hospital. He had been in an accident that resulted in his leg being amputated. He was facing many health challenges, even during his recovery.
One of our team members delivered a water filter to the family’s home to help protect them from dangerous waterborne illnesses. During the visit, our team members learned that Teresa’s son had also come to faith while in the hospital. They prayed together, and the local church will be able to follow up with them.
