We’ve not hit our funding target – what do we do now?
Hi John, Happy New Year’s Eve. I hope you’ve had a restful few days.
I need to be honest with you: we haven't reached our target. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been asking 941 people to sign up and help fund our vital work. Hundreds of you stepped up, and I’m hugely thankful. But it’s the last day of the year and I wanted to reach out one last time to ask for your support.
John, I know a monthly contribution isn’t possible for everyone. Could you chip in with a one-off donation instead, so we can enter the new year with our best foot forward? A generous donor will match your gift as long as you donate before midnight tonight. Every pound you give can help us fight polluters, defend nature, and stop the fossil fuel industry’s expansion:

We’re halfway through this decade, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Climate activists are being silenced. Nature is in decline. Big Oil is set to have an ally in the White House. All of this makes our fight harder.
But we refuse to back down. The next five years are crucial – and we want to use every tool in our arsenal to secure a brighter future. Your donation could help fund:
- Scientific equipment for vital climate research
- Specialist drones to document illegal nature destruction
- Climbing gear for peaceful actions against polluters
So please, John, will you power our campaigns with a one-off donation today? Together, we can win a better world.

Thanks so much, and wishing you the best for 2025.
