I know it's easy, especially in the wake of the election, to get caught up in the rage and chaos generated by Donald and those in his orbit. I empathize with feeling defeated and isolated. But I also know the work goes on, and we can’t go down without a fight.

Just take a look at the administration he’s putting together – it’s the most extreme cabinet in modern American history. Donald clearly wants dangerous people rolling the dice when it comes to the fundamental rights of the American people – all as a way to keep us weak, frightened, and preoccupied.

But instead of feeling helpless and withdrawing, we must act.

Luckily, Democratic governors are ready to act as the last line of defense. They’ll be faced with constant challenges the next few years, from combating the second Trump administration to 38 governors’ races in key states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Virginia – so they need our help.
