As we close out 2024, AQE is reflecting on all that you’ve helped us accomplish for New York’s children and families: 

• advocating for full funding for our public schools, 

• fighting to improve the Foundation Aid formula so all our students can thrive,

• pushing for universal child care, 

• calling for better wages for our early childhood care providers, 

• and standing up against harmful budget cuts. 

With your support, we’ve made it clear that every child deserves a quality education, and that all of New York State’s communities - urban, rural, and suburban - must be supported. With your help, we are ensuring every child in New York has the opportunity to succeed.

Looking ahead to 2025, we know that significant challenges lie ahead, from political opposition to threats against vital public services. As we enter AQE’s 25th year of service, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fighting for a more just and equitable future for all of our children.
