As part of the #WeMatterToo movement, join us this Friday ([link removed][UNIQID]) to hear from Pamela Winn, the founder of RestoreHER US.America, a reentry organization for directly impacted women that advocates for an end to the mass incarceration of women of color and pregnant women.

Pamela Winn will be joined by our host Sam Lewis and ARC member Akilah Shands, who has direct lived experience with incarceration and pregnancy.

We are having this discussion in light of the devastating death of Andrea Circle Bear ([link removed][UNIQID]) , a 30-year-old pregnant woman who died after becoming infected by COVID-19 in a federal prison. Pamela, Akilah, and Sam will touch on this horrific story, discuss the social movement around pregnant women in custody, and speak to what we can do now.
