Not too long ago, I stood with Miles College President Dr. Bobbie Knight and announced that we had secured $850,000 in federal funding to enhance public safety on Miles College’s campus—part of the $13.1 million I fought for in the Fiscal Year 2024 funding package . From better street lighting and security cameras to public safety vehicles, this funding is creating positive change all throughout Alabama’s 7th District.
