Friend, for nearly 20 years my holiday table has felt incomplete, ever since gun violence reshaped our lives forever.
This time of year is a stark reminder of why I began my work in gun violence prevention. When I was 19, my parents were shot — and while my father survived, my mother was killed.
This is the 19th holiday season we've had to spend without her warmth, her laugh, and her smile. And it's this pain that drives me to keep fighting so no one else has to go through what I did.
That's why I'm calling on advocates like you, friend, to join me in this crucial moment.

Brady’s end-of-year deadline is just a day away, and with so much work ahead of us in the fight to end gun violence, we just have to hit our $300,000 goal before the ball drops on Dec. 31. Will you please rush $5 or more right now and have it DOUBLED by a generous group of donors?

Friend, I'll be the first to admit I'm feeling apprehensive as we prepare for another Trump presidency. But here's what keeps me hopeful: grassroots supporters like you.
I believe, together, we can overcome even the toughest obstacles and push forward life-saving reforms — no matter who we’re up against. We did it before, and with supporters like you, we will do it again.

Brady has always been powered by survivors and advocates who refuse to give up. In fact, it is how I first came to Brady 19 years ago as a volunteer. With your help, I know we can keep up this fight — but with the end of the year approaching fast, we can't wait to act. So please, while every dollar goes TWICE as far, will you rush a donation now and help us create a safer country for everyone?
We will face uphill battles in the year ahead, friend. But I know that with people like you fighting alongside us, we can still work toward a country free from gun violence.
Thank you for being a part of this movement.
