Considering the risk associated with physically going to the polls, it's no surprise that 51% of voters say they're likely to vote by mail in November.

To support Americans' quest for safe voting, House Democrats have passed a bill that would give states $3.6 billion in election funding -- enough to guarantee that every single American gets to vote by mail this election.

But Donald Trump has said the bill is "dead on arrival." That makes sense. Trump has already admitted to the entire country that he hates vote-by-mail because Republicans lose when voters are given every option to vote.

The problem now, according to Wendy Weiser -- director of the Democracy Program at the nonpartisan Brennan Center for Justice -- is that "There is a real significant risk to the integrity of the election if we don't invest now in our election infrastructure. We're going to see large-scale disenfranchisement, delays, and meltdowns."

That's exactly what Trump is counting on to win. If voters don't vote, Trump gets another four years. But the founding fathers put a system in place to check presidents who rise above their station and begin to threaten democracy itself, like Trump has done.
