In case you missed it, Donald Trump is letting Elon Musk use our government as his personal playground. Let me catch you up:

Right before the holidays, Speaker Mike Johnson put together a continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government funded until March. It also included much-needed hurricane relief funding. It was expected to pass with bipartisan support.

But then, Elon posted a flurry of tweets opposing the CR:

Soon after, House Republicans started publicly reversing their initial support. The government was at risk of shutting down until the 11th hour when lawmakers finally agreed on an updated CR and voted to avert a shutdown.

This chaos will only continue unless we take a stand against it, John. That’s why I’m calling for a shadow cabinet to counter the Trump Administration and fight for a better future.
