Earlier this year, our son, Billy, had his third successful open-heart surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. It is a humbling experience to place your child's life in someone else's hands. Still, my wife, Molly, and I are grateful to know there are extraordinary health care professionals at CHLA who do everything in their power to help Billy-and all the children in their care.

At the hospital we've met other parents at their most vulnerable and seen children facing difficult health challenges. Each time we are there with Billy, we are reminded of how fortunate we are to have a world-class hospital like CHLA right here in our city.
