And we were among the first outlets to notive the rise of Dan Osborn’s surprising U.S. Senate run in Nebraska, profiling him all the way back in April. Just recently, we deftly exposed how Elon Musk’s business interests in China are influencing politics here at home.

With so much at stake, 2025 is not the time to slow down. From the Trump administration's assault on the free press to Elon Musk and the billionaire class's undue influence on our political system, we need to produce more hard-hitting journalism and analysis from our distinct point of view.
