Even MORE Heartless!

On Friday, Nancy Pelosi's House Passed a Bill to Extend Visas for Temporary Foreign Workers, Blocking Jobs For Americans, Even During the Economic Meltdown

Take our new ONE-QUESTION SURVEY (below) on the best level of temporary foreign workers during Covid-19 Crisis

Dear John -

Things just got a whole lot crazier in Washington. We couldn't believe it when some Senators from both parties wanted to bring in tens of thousands of medical workers, despite nearly a million and a half American medical workers having just lost their jobs. But that pales beside what Nancy Pelosi and the House have now done!

The just-passed House bill would also AUTOMATICALLY grant extensions to most temporary foreign workers already in the U.S. . . .

PLUS grant a temporary AMNESTY with work authorization for illegal aliens currently working in certain jobs deemed important. This latter group would cover about TWO MILLION illegal workers, giving them protection as long as the COVID-19 crisis lasts.

Are those two million "important" jobs really jobs Americans won't do? Even now, after 35 million Americans have lost their jobs during the pandemic! I can't think of anything more insulting! Does Nancy Pelosi really want to make sure the unemployed Americans cannot have a chance to get any of the jobs now held by illegal aliens? This is not only HEARTLESS. It's also PERVERSE!

If you can, help us stop this madness. Take the survey below.
Send the messages to Congress and to President Trump.
Then, if you can, please make a donation to NumbersUSA Action Fund.

IF YOU CAN, PLEASE GIVE TODAY!

Not only does the House bill provide a temporary amnesty to illegal alien workers, it financially subsidizes illegal aliens by sending them stimulus checks from the CARES stimulus bill!

The vote total this time was pretty close because 13 brave Democratic Representatives defied their Party leadership and voted against this terrible bill. Thanks to all of you with Democratic Members of the House who have been keeping the pressure on them to stand up for the unemployed American workers instead of the outlaw businesses that prefer to hire illegal aliens.

But as I told you last week, we have a bipartisan problem in the Senate. A group of both Republican and Democratic Senators are pushing hard to bring in thousands more foreign medical personnel even as 1.4 MILLION American medical workers have lost their jobs or are temporarily unemployed.

It's as if the sponsors -- Senators Chris Coons (D-DE), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Todd Young (R-IN) and David Perdue (R-GA) -- are trying to bring in foreign STRIKE BREAKERS -- BUT NOBODY'S ON STRIKE!!! As I said last week, this is HEARTLESS!

Now, I do need to get some information from you!

Please answer our one-question survey. We're wanting to know what you think would be the best temporary foreign worker visa policy during this crisis. When you click your answer, you will be taken to an acknowledgment page on the NumbersUSA website. Although there will be a chance to donate below the acknowledgment, there is no pressure to give. Every single answer is added to the total. We will use this information to learn your ideas, to share them with officials, and to feedback the results to you.

During the current economic crisis brought on by COVID-19, which is the best foreign worker policy for the U.S.? (click just one)

Import about the same number of temporary foreign workers as before the crisis.

Halt new foreign worker visas EXCEPT for occupations deemed essential, such as workers in the food industry and health care, until employment numbers have recovered to pre-crisis level.

Stop issuing ANY new visas for temporary foreign workers BUT renew visas for guest workers already here, until employment numbers have recovered to pre-crisis levels.

Stop issuing ANY new visas for temporary foreign workers PLUS stop renewing existing temporary foreign worker visas as they come up for renewal.

What would you like to do after you answer the survey? Come back to this email and...

Try sending this Free Email to the President: "Urge President Trump to Suspend Work Visa Programs".

Then send this Free Fax to your members of Congress "Urge Congress to support mandatory E-Verify".

Congress and the President need to hear from American voters! As we so often remind Congress, NumbersUSA members vote in every election!

Trust me, even in this COVID-19 crisis, our team is pushing Congress and the Administration day and night to PAY ATTENTION to their voters! We've been doing this for 23+ years. It is expensive to do what we do for America. Our NumbersUSA Action fund is getting low on funds.

OF COURSE, that's partly because unemployment has just skyrocketed. At NumbersUSA, we're working hard to get the burden of unfair foreign worker competition off the neck of working Americans. SO, if you have not personally been hit by this downturn, and you can do so without anxiety, please consider making a donation today.

John, we urgently need your support. No matter what, please vote in our survey; send the faxes and emails. They're why we exist: to give our members a voice. If we were flooded in money, but we had no supporters to give voice to, we'd go nowhere. All our hardware, researchers, programmers and staffers don't get any cheaper if you don't participate to the fullest.

At the same time, we do need some money to continue what we're doing. Frankly, we need more money than we've raised lately. If you can make a donation to NumbersUSA, despite this terrible economic crisis, please do.

IF YOU CAN, PLEASE GIVE TODAY!
You can now pay by Paypal or credit card directly on our web page.
