For a long time, I felt alone in thinking about the suffering of farmed animals. Factory farms broke my heart. So I cut animal products out of my life years ago, as a way to remove myself from systems that cause so much suffering for other beings.

But when I learned about The Humane League, I realized I was so far from alone.

Despite what Big Ag wants us to believe, people care about animals. Deeply. And people are fighting for them.

All around the world, across countries and continents, people are working hard to dismantle these systems of cruelty. People are dedicating their free time, their weekends, their careers, their entire lives to building a better future for animals. And whether you’ve been an animal advocate for years or you just became aware of factory farming, there’s a place for you here.

In a time when so many issues are vying for our attention, I know my investment in The Humane League is an investment in a kinder world. An investment in making sure millions of animals are living lives that are less cruel. Regardless of everything going on in my own life, I know that The Humane League is there fighting for animals, day in and day out.
