Friend,

What is Courage?

Courage is:

* Enshrining marriage equality in the California constitution as we
prepare for an all-out assault on queer families from the Trump
administration
* Passing a climate bond to address the impact of climate change in our
state
* Flipping three congressional seats from red to blue to bolster our
Democratic minority in the House
* Helping elect nine progressive legislators into office to serve as a
xxxxxx against the worst excesses of the Trump administration in
California and Washington, DC.

Courage is all of us coming together to collectively say “No!” to
right-wing demagogues seeking to divide us as they make inroads across our
state, pushing some voters to the right and attempting to stop the
progress we’ve worked so hard to achieve.

[ [link removed] ]As we prepare for 2025, we’ll need all of this courage and more. Can
you donate right now, before the end of the year, to ensure we have the
resources to courageously face whatever the Trump administration throws
our way? Your donation will be MATCHED 100% by a generous supporter!

Here at Courage California, we know a thing about facing hard situations.

When we led the fight against Prop 8, we knew we would be facing long
odds. But we also believed that if enough courageous Californians stood
up, we would be successful. And we were right -- a federal judge ruled
Prop 8 unconstitutional, and this year California voters enshrined
marriage equality into our state constitution.

Now, as we prepare for another Trump administration, we are once again
betting on the courage of our fellow Californians.

Courage to stand with our trans, undocumented, and other marginalized
neighbors preparing to bear the brunt of the worst Trump attacks. Courage
to protect abortion access, worker’s rights, climate justice, and health
care. Courage to serve as a beacon for the rest of the country to counter
the fascist pull of right-wing demagogues.

But right now, we are $9,000 away from our year-end goal. We need our
community to stand up for us, right now.

[ [link removed] ]We know that this community has the courage necessary to face the next
four years. Will you help ensure that we have the resources to turn that
courage into action by donating before the end of the year? Your donation
will be DOUBLED by a generous donor!

Thank you for being with us.

–Irene, along with Annie, Angela, Isidra, Cecilia, Jen, and Lindsay (the
Courage team)
