Unlike the national organizations that operate only during election seasons, our partners know their communities personally, have the skills to make progress, and can win in states previously written off as deep red.

But oftentimes, grassroots organizers are working with shoestring budgets. That’s why Groundwork invests at the local level — because we can make an even greater impact when we uplift folks who know their neighbors better than anyone else.

During the off-year, our partners will be focused on combatting attempts to restrict fundamental rights and freedoms, responding to their community’s needs, and training the next generation of organizers.
