…and somehow, I felt hope again.

Dear John,
I would like to share with you today something I wasn’t prepared for.
This autumn, I traveled to a village with my colleagues to deliver wheelchairs to people with limited mobility. One house belonged to a large family — a grandmother, her granddaughter, her husband, and their five children, all under the age of six.
As soon as we stepped inside, I was surrounded, and the children started asking me about everything:
“What’s your name?”
“Why are your glasses so big?”
“What’s that big red cross on your jacket?”
I smiled as I answered every one of their questions. In that house, with those five curious children, it felt like hope.
But not every story ends with smiles and questions.
Too many families like theirs have been forced to flee their homes. Too many children grow up in shelters. Too many parents are waiting for missing loved ones. Our teams are doing everything they can to reach them. We deliver water, food, and medical aid. We repair hospitals and rebuild damaged water systems.
But we can’t do it alone.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you. These families are waiting for someone like you to show up for them.
John, your gift could be the hope they’re waiting for.
Please, if you can, make a year-end gift today. It’s how we keep going. It’s how they keep going.
GIVE HOPE TODAY
