SPUC will be holding a Parliamentary event for MPs on Thursday 9th January.

We will be providing a briefing on the Pills-by-Post policy and how dangerous this policy has proven to be, by highlighting recent criminal cases involving it.

The horrifying Stuart Worby spiking case in Norfolk gives clear evidence of the danger of pills-by-post abortions. This ruthless individual acquired the pills using this system and killed his pregnant partner’s unborn baby.

This case and other health risks show that it is time to change the law. Before the 2024 General Election, hundreds of medical professionals wrote to MPs urging them to make this change – the dangers were obvious to them even before this shocking case.

Will you join us for a short lunchtime meeting on this subject on Thursday 9th January, from 12-2pm in the Jubilee Room of Westminster Hall? Drop in for 10 minutes or whatever you can spare. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided. MPs or their staff may attend.
