Washington, D.C. | August 16, 2019 | adc.org [ [link removed] ] – Yesterday morning, it was announced that, at the behest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) would be barred from entry into Israel. The two representatives are planned to be arriving for a formal visit to Israel this weekend. Shortly before Netanyahu's decision, President Donald Trump tweeted that it "would show great weakness" for Israel to allow the Congresswomen to enter. We must tell our elected representatives that we do support this decision! Call on them to support their colleagues.
