Dear Friend,
Thank you for following our 2024 series. Together, we’ve made incredible progress advancing evidence-based solutions to strengthen communities across the nation. But our work is far from over.
The year ahead brings uncertainty. New policies and shifting priorities could challenge the progress we’ve made and the future we’re striving to create. What is certain is Urban’s commitment to equipping leaders with the tools and data they need to drive meaningful change.
As we close the year, it’s not too late to make your

Invest in equitable solutions
Dear Friend,
Urban may be best known for advancing long-term policy solutions, but some of our greatest impact results come from supporting communities in moments of acute crisis.
Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, press and policymakers relied on Urban’s Climate and Communities team for expert analysis of the unique housing challenges and priority recovery needs of more-vulnerable groups, like residents who live in mobile homes, who are often the hardest hit during climate disasters.

Make a difference with your donation and help communities receive the best strategies to recover from extreme climate events.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our experts collaborated with the North Carolina state budget office to support the development of the state’s damage and needs assessment. This effort aimed to respond to the specific recovery needs of renter populations, residents living in manufactured housing, elderly and disabled populations, and immigrant communities.
When disaster strikes, Urban steps up—we equip local leaders with the timely, data-driven analysis they need to create quick and effective solutions for their communities. Your support fuels this work and efforts like it in places across the country. Invest in equitable solutions today.
