With your help we can help WNC, hold polluters accountable, and protect our environment at the legislature.

Dear John,

Our country is anxious about what Trump’s election will mean for our environment. We’re anxious too, but we are also committed.

In 2025, we are committed to working with leaders like Josh Stein to continue the progress we’ve made on climate change. We are committed to reach the new climate target of 61-66% reduction in climate pollution by 2035.

We are committed to holding big-monied polluters accountable; to make polluters like Duke Energy, Chemours, and Dupont pay for their pollution so North Carolinians don’t have to.

We are committed to seeking more funding for Hurricane Helene recovery and reminding folks of this disaster’s tie to climate change. We are committed to passing the best policies to prepare for future climate disasters.

And since we broke the super-majority in the NC House, we are committed to holding the line against anti-environmental attacks from the pro-polluter majority in the General Assembly.

We are committed, but we need your help.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us move toward a better future for North Carolina.

Thank you for your support, and Happy New Year!

Best,

Carrie Clark
Executive Director
