John, it's Fred Guttenberg with Brady. I know you're just as disheartened as I am that Congress and the White House will be losing gun violence prevention advocates come January. It is scary to think how dangerous the GOP agenda will be when it comes to gun violence. But that's all the more reason why Brady's fight is so important.
Our progress so far wouldn't be possible without grassroots supporters like you, John. And that’s true for every bit of progress we make in the next year and beyond.
Right now, a generous group of donors is MATCHING all donations — meaning your gift will go TWICE as far in our fight against gun violence. So please, will you donate to our $300,000 goal today?

For people like me who've felt the horrors of gun violence firsthand, your gift means the world.
My daughter, Jaime, was just 14 years old when she was killed by a gunman at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. On a day when she should've been learning and getting excited for her next dance recital, my Jaime was running down a hallway through a spray of bullets in fear for her life.
In an instant, Jaime became yet another heartbreaking statistic in America's gun violence epidemic. Her laugh, her kindness, her joy — all of it was stripped from us that day, and our family hasn't been the same since. We'll never get Jaime back, and that's a pain that we carry with us every single day.
But instead of letting that pain consume us, we've turned it into a fight for action and change. Working alongside Brady, we have the power to make sure no parent ever has to receive the call I did when my Jaime was killed by gun violence — but we need the resources heading into the new year in order to continue this fight.
If we're going to take on the gun lobby under the Trump administration in 2025, we're going to need all the resources we can get, John. That's why hitting our $300,000 goal is a must: So please, rush $5 or more right now and help us push for common-sense, life-saving measures that will keep our children and our communities safe. Every dollar counts!
