Friends and Comrades-

We hope you have a joyous and safe end to 2024! While it's often been been a challenging and discouraging year, we have felt ourselves lifted up by the energy and hopeful spirit of our community all year. From Palestinian Solidarity work to our benefit for Alianza Tenant Union, we have showed up to support people being crushed under the heel of capitalism. We've organized to support Trans and Queer lives, knocked on hundreds of door supporting candidates who share our vision of a more just and democratic world, and participated in wonderful mutual aid work. See you in 2025!

Our friends at the newly formed Burrito Brigade are planning weekly breakfasts serving on Sundays at 10 AM, at Franklin Miles Park! Contact [email protected] if you are interested in getting involved. If you would like to pitch in for resources, you can donate to our mutual aid fund.

Our Reading Group will be starting a new book next month, Four Futures, by Peter Frase. This short but fascinating book examines possible outcomes after the inevitable fall of capitalism.

The first meeting will discuss the Introduction and chapter 1 of the book. It will take place Sunday, January 19 at 4pm at CHOMP Food Hall.
