Starting 2025 with one hand tied behind our back.

John, we need to show you this graph. It shows that we are off-track to meet our end of year fundraising goal.

Graphic displaying the gap between required funds and donations, announcing: We're coming up short!

There are less than 48 hours until the deadline to raise $20,000, and I’m sorry to say that grassroots donations are falling short.

We need a surge of donations right now so that we can hit the ground running in 2025 and sustain our fight to protect and lift up domestic workers across the country. And, for the remainder of 2024, every donation, up to $10,000, will be matched by a generous donor — DOUBLING the impact of your support for nannies, housecleaners, and home care workers.

John — can you rush a donation to help us achieve this goal and get back on track? Your contribution, of any amount, would mean a lot right now.

Closing this fundraising gap is so important because it's not easy to transform domestic work. The systems designed to keep domestic workers in the shadows can feel insurmountable at times, and it requires a lot of person-hours and resources to take them on.

It's because of supporters like you, who step up time and again, that we've been able to achieve important wins in 2024 for domestic workers in the face of these huge obstacles. For example, in January, New Jersey joined 10 other states in extending protections to domestic workers.

In 2025, that support is going to be even more important.

We know financial contributions aren't the only measure of your support, and we're grateful for all the ways the people reading this email pitch in. But, if you’re able, John, we really need your help to hit this important $20,000 fundraising goal before 11:59 pm tomorrow night.

Thanks for all you do,
