Dear Jack,

Before 2024 ends, I wanted to send you a quick note.

When we close out this year, we will mark fourteen years of fighting shoulder-to-shoulder for life, family, and religious freedom in North Carolina together.

Thanks to you and many generous believers like you, the NC Values Coalition & NC Values Institute has become North Carolina’s leading champion for Christ in our legislature, our courts, and our public square.

And we are just getting started.

Together, we’re building a permanent, Christ-centered freedom infrastructure that does more than make our voices heard, but ensures that we continue to win victories for biblical values—again and again.

You and I share a common vision—to create a culture in North Carolina where human life is valued, marriages and families flourish, and religious liberty thrives. We both want to protect our children and grandchildren from the radicalism of the Left, proclaim our faith and defend the founding principles that make our state and nation the envy of the world.

But we have to fight for it, every step of the way.

We set a goal for the remaining days of the year to raise $100,000, with $20,000 being matched dollar-for-dollar by one of our most committed supporters.

Meeting this goal will ensure that we:

  • Build an in-house Christian values-driven law firm to keep constant pressure on state agencies and local bureaucrats to implement new legislation when you and I successfully pass it;

  • Expand our “Mama Bear” parent training programs to teach parents to be their own best advocates against the toxic agendas being pushed in our classrooms.

  • Grow distribution of our vastly popular, and much-needed voter guide, that assists voters across the state in voting according to the Christian values we all hold dear,

  • And hire additional lobbyists to educate, equip, and inform legislators to pass laws that advance our shared principles.

We’re still a little short of this goal, which is why I hope you will consider making your most generous donation to NC Values and the NC Values Institute right now.

These past two years, you and I made major gains in the fight against anti-Christian ideas, and together we did the heavy lifting to:

  1. Save thousands of babies from abortion by outlawing abortions after 12 weeks of pregnancy, but North Carolina is still an “abortion destination”—this HOLOCAUST MUST END.

  2. Expand parental choice in education by passing universal opportunity scholarships, but we will likely see legal challenges to this law—we MUST FIGHT BACK IN COURT.

  3. Protect young children from the predations of unscrupulous doctors and their “gender-affirming” experiments.

  4. Preserve fairness in women’s sports by prohibiting boys and men from competing against girls.

  5. Protect children from the dangers of “social transitioning.”

With a radical new governor and attorney general, we expect steady executive opposition to these common-sense laws. However, we MUST DO ALL WE CAN TO HOLD THESE VICTORIES.

None of these things would have been possible without God’s abundant grace, and your generosity, and continued wins won’t happen without you, either.

As we turn to the final moments of the year, think about what is coming next year. The Left—beaten and backed into a corner—are preparing to double-down on their woke agenda and lash out at people like you and me. We are already seeing evidence of this in the media.

The battle will continue, so you and I must be ready to hold our ground and even more forcefully proclaim Christ in the New Year.

Before midnight on December 31st, please take a moment to make a gift to NC Values or a tax deductible gift to our sister organization, the NC Values Institute.

Thank you for your support, your friendship, and most importantly, your prayers. May God bless you and your loved ones in 2025!

Sincerely,

Tami Fitzgerald

Executive Director, NC Values

PS. I hope you will prayerfully consider making your most generous gift to the NC Values Coalition or NC Values Institute (our sister 501(c)(3)) right now?  Your gift to NCVI is tax deductible, and will fund our most ambitious goals like bringing lawsuits to press our values in the courts, expanding training for parents, and keeping Christian values at the heart of the legislative process.  Any gift you make is matched up to $20,000!
