The facts: If Vice President Joe Biden is going to win in November, his best bet is to select a Black woman as vice president. The Democratic ticket has to inspire the Black community to get to the polls.

In 2016, the election was decided by less than 80,000 votes in key states. But when you look closely at the numbers, thousands of Black people didn't turn out to the polls.
