John, I consider myself lucky to
have the opportunity to do this job every day.
Looking back at 2024, I am full of gratitude to this team for allowing me
to travel across the country and support the next generation of bold
progressive leaders.
I joined volunteers in Texas, Ohio, and Georgia (to name a few) and got to
visit all kinds of neighborhoods to talk to regular people about the
issues impacting them.
I heard a lot of things knocking doors, but there was a major common theme
among the voters I talked to: the desire for a new generation of leaders
who will do what they say they are going to do and fight for our
progressive values.
That’s why the work we’re doing at Leaders We Deserve is so
important, John. We are changing
the face of political power together, one election at a time.

We made some incredible progress together this year, electing six young
leaders to Congress and state legislatures across the country. But we have
so much more work to do in 2025, 2026, and beyond. We can’t let this
momentum slow down.
