I can’t say I disagree, John!

When I’m elected in November, I’ll be the eighth LGBTQ member of Congress (and the very first from Washington state). I’m ready to make history by making a difference on important initiatives like the Equality Act, which would finally outlaw LGBTQ discrimination.

I’m proud that my old boss, Congressman Heck was a lead sponsor on the Equality Act. Trump will never allow this bill to become a law, but Joe Biden promises to sign it during his first 100 days.

That’s why last week, I was proud to join the seven incumbent members of the Equality Caucus in endorsing Joe Biden for President. He’ll be the fighter that we need on this issue and more.
