Dear Friend,
I have just returned from historic Gospel outreaches in Southeast Asia. We give God all the glory for the thousands of lives He changed for eternity—and I thank Him for the opportunity to boldly proclaim His truth that “Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father” (Romans 6:4, NKJV). It was such an honor to be invited to share God’s love in two countries—Vietnam and Laos—where such events would have been hard to imagine just a few years ago.
On the first night of the Season of Love Festival, nearly 14,000 people packed into Can Tho Stadium, Vietnam’s second-largest soccer venue. I shared a clear presentation of the Gospel—and the Holy Spirit worked mightily. Hoa*—one of our prayer counselors—was standing at the front when people began to walk forward at the invitation. She had the privilege of watching as three of her friends surrendered their lives to the Lord.
“I would love to help many people believe in Christ. So I invited my friends to come here, and seeing that they came up and accepted Christ into their lives, I feel so happy,” Hoa said. “I cannot express it in words. I’m so thankful to God for this Festival, and for those who made this happen.”
