Purpose: The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a series of workshops across the state on the Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program (49 USC, Section 5310), also known as the FTA 5310 Program. This program coordinates with other federal, state, and local resources and programs that are designed to serve similar populations. This regional workshop provides an opportunity to learn about rural public transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities from local transit providers in the following counties: Brooks, Cameron, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, Starr, Willacy, and Zapata.
