As we close out 2024, we wanted to think back to the huge successes we had this year. Obviously getting President Trump re-elected was an enormous victory that changed the direction of our nation. And not just a slight change, this was a monumental change that will have a generational impact.
Republicans took back the US Senate & kept control of the US House of Representatives, meaning we are going into 2025 with the Senate, House, AND White House. The America First agenda is primed to make our country great again starting in January.
Once again all 77 counties voted for President Trump. Not just once again meaning a second time, but once again for a THIRD time IN A ROW! That’s a huge accomplishment. Oklahoma remains deep Red. This is Republican country!
We had our special Presidential conventions this year. With District Conventions, State Convention, & culminating with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. President Trump won ALL of Oklahoma’s delegate votes at the National convention thanks to the great slate of America First Trump supporters created by our Executive Committee & elected at our State Convention.
We also elected our Presidential Electors & Alternate Electors at the various conventions. And on December 17th they met at the Governor’s office to submit Oklahoma’s 7 electoral college votes on behalf of Donald J. Trump.
At the State level we had some huge victories as well. Not only did we keep our super majority in the Oklahoma State House & State Senate, we took aim at something that had never been done before: judicial elections.
Oklahoma has never voted out a judge under the current system established in 1963. A system which was put in place, by the way, because corrupt Democrat judges (but I repeat myself) took tens of thousands of dollars in bribes to determine the outcome of cases before them.
This new system has still benefited the Democrats greatly as they’ve maintained control of our courts in Oklahoma. And with three democrats judges up on the November ballot, we decided to do what had never been done before: beat a judge at the ballot box. And in a historic fashion for the FIRST TIME in Oklahoma history, we voted a judge off the bench! And not just any judge, a leftist judge who had been serving on the Oklahoma Supreme Court for longer than Nancy Pelosi has been in Congress!!!
We’re so thankful to all those who donated to help us in the judicial plan, those who spread the word to vote no, & the organizations who partnered with us. Together we made history!
It’s been an honor to serve as State Chairman for the OKGOP. There have been numerous battles, with more still to come. But the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. Thank you for those who have stood with us in the fight & for those who will continue to do so in the battles still to come.
