Email from Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation Dear John, The really good news is that all of our work is gaining prominence and revealing strong results in similar studies. Of course, we were the first and our Kirtan Kriya meditation is the most advanced type of mind/body mindfulness therapy available today. All together the work of the ARPF has now been shown to help people recover from more than 120 conditions. Here are some examples of strong and revealing benefits of our work. Preventing & Reversing Memory Loss: Intensive Lifestyle intervention studies continue to prove positive in preventing and reversing memory loss. Our work has proven to be effective in the following conditions: 1. Anxiety 2. PTSD including sleep, less stress, increased mood, and memory. 3. Drug abuse 4. Insomnia 5. Alzheimer’s prevention and reversal. Of course, that’s what we’re famous for. 6. Helping family dementia caregivers. We revealed that not only was memory improved and stress decreased, but genes were made younger too. Also immunity was improved. 7. Beyond that, we are striving to be the first research study to go forward with a brand new modern study utilizing an app. We will design and create an app that will allow people in our study to work the program from the comfort of their home. 8. We want to continue growing our BLTT program so our graduates can help others. Now the bad news: 1. We are short of our financial goal needed to fund our work. 2. In all seriousness, we can benefit from a million dollars. $1 Million. 3. However, our much more modest goal right now is to raise $75,000 as soon as possible; before the end of the year. 4. Very frankly, it’s hard to compete with some other heavily funded organizations. We’re a smaller non-profit and that’s why we need you! Will you help? Here’s how. Yours in Brain Health, Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D. President / Medical Director Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) www.alzheimersprevention.org
