Before Christmas, we here at IDP sent Santa a letter that included an extensive list of gifts we wanted to enjoy in the new year. Considering that many of them were concepts like “Donald Trump becomes a good person”, we recognized that most would not get delivered. |

That is why we’re hoping our fellow Democrats will help Santa to grant two of them to us today. The first is that we’d love it if you were to volunteer with your local county party. Grassroots organizing is what’s going to bring this party into the future, and you can help by being a part of it. The second is that we need resources. The presidential election drained a vast amount of our on-hand cash, we’ll be starting the new year with fewer options and lesser capabilities. Many of the innovations we want to pursue simply cost money that we don’t have. Would you be willing to donate to the IDP today to help us start the new year strong? We can’t do it without you. |

Our only chance to stop Donald Trump is to take back control of Congress in the midterms. There is simply no other way. If we aren’t able to grow and adapt in the two years leading up to 2026, then our struggle remains the same until at least 2028. |
