Our work to protect children from gun violence began more than seven years ago, when our loved ones were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Today, because of the efforts of supporters like you, nearly 5 million people nationwide have made the Promise to do all they can to prevent the next tragedy before it happens. We've helped power an incredible movement of people across the country who are dedicated to protecting children from gun violence.

Our solidarity is what fuels real, meaningful change, and we need that now more than ever. In the midst of a pandemic that has uprooted all of our lives and taken gun safety off the front page, more children are in imminent danger – and we must stay committed to protecting them from gun violence.

That's why this year, even though we can't gather together in person, our whole team will be joining gun violence prevention groups nationwide on June 5 to #WearOrange for National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
