Evacuation orders and heavy bombing leave few health care options in Gaza, but MSF stayed to offer primary health care consultations, wound dressings, and mental health support to Palestinians.

After pivoting our existing work in 2023 when Russian forces launched an assault in Ukraine, MSF has continued to evacuate patients on our medical trains. We also provided more than 668 patients with physiotherapy sessions and provided mental health support to 508 patients.

In March and April, in the midst of escalating violence, our teams provided 9,025 outpatient consultations and treated 4,966 urgent cases despite closed ports that left hospitals critically short-supplied.

To help assess and respond to the humanitarian and medical needs of asylum seekers crossing the US-Mexico border MSF worked alongside Humane Borders and other nonprofits.

MSF vaccinated nearly 40,000 children aged 6 months to 10 years and provided routine vaccines to 1,848 infants under 11 months.

When an outbreak of mpox spread in DRC, MSF immediately responded, treating 1,400 patients and holding 9,600 awareness sessions.

In addition to maternity and malnutrition care, MSF teams at Nasser Hospital are supporting the neonatal intensive care unit, which is equipped with 29 beds and incubators for high-risk newborns.

MSF treated 39 people in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, for violence-related injuries, including many women and children with injuries from mortar shells and gunshots.

After international experts declared famine conditions in Zamzam camp, Sudan, MSF teams continued to respond to the malnutrition crisis. MSF also runs an 80-bed field hospital focusing on pediatric and maternal health care.

After Israeli forces hit Beirut, MSF teams responded immediately, delivering 400 kits of basic relief items, clean water, and psychological first aid.
