Friend --
In just over three weeks, Donald Trump will be sworn into office.
And on that day, hundreds of demonstrations will take place cities and
towns across the country as part of the We Fight Back day of action.
We will meet Trump's attacks head on and build an independent,
grassroots movement that seeks to not only stop Trump from shredding
our rights, but also to win fundamental change that brings about a
more just and peaceful world.
Can you make an urgently-needed, tax-deductible
contribution today to help us build this new movement?
The ANSWER Coalition has been
fighting the U.S. war machine for well over two decades. Trump is
promising to dramatically increase the already-bloated war budget.
Trump has appointed notorious war hawks like Marco Rubio to the top
foreign policy and military positions in his cabinet. They are
hardline advocates of war with Iran, fanatical opponents of
progressive governments in Latin America, and staunch supporters of
Israel's genocidal campaign against the Palestinian and Arab people.
They are planning on moving ever closer to catastrophic military
confrontation with China.
Trump is filling the government
with billionaires to make key decisions. They intend to slash social
programs for working class and poor people and conduct mass firings of
public employees, deport huge numbers of immigrant families, remove
any restrictions on the ability of corporations to poison the
planet. Giving up is not an
option -- we have to take a stand.
We believe in the power of the people to take to the streets and
make change. That mobilization starts the very same day Trump takes
the oath of office, and it will only grow throughout his term in
office. The fight back of millions of ordinary people is what can stop
Trump's extreme-right, billionaire agenda.
The grassroots, people's opposition
to Trump needs your help. To propel this organizing forward
to January 20th and beyond, please make an urgently-needed, tax-deductible
contribution today.
In solidarity,
Brian Becker
