Folks – this is making me sick:

Bennie Thompson, Adam Schiff, Pete Aguilar, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and other selfless members of Congress painted a huge target on their backs when they formed the January 6 committee.

But they did it because of the pain, the trauma, that me and my fellow officers endured. They did it because our democracy was under threat.

And now, Donald Trump is reviving that threat.

I've never been more certain of this: If we do not act now, Donald Trump will take our democracy and demolish it right before our eyes.
