That was a big day. It was the day Chris Murphy was sworn into the U.S. Senate thanks to the support of thousands and thousands of people like you.

It was just weeks after the tragedy in Newtown, and he pledged, “[Ending gun violence] is my mission.” That’s just what he got to work doing — building a movement capable of finally beating the gun lobby.

That is the amount we are asking you to consider giving today before our final FEC deadline of 2024. Chris is at the center of some of the biggest fights in Washington, and none of it — the progress we’ve won and the work to come — is possible without small-dollar donations. This year, because of our efforts, mass shootings and gun murders are finally down.

But now we have to work to protect and build on these successes. It will not be easy. Trump’s billionaire cronies are already attacking Chris personally for his leadership, and we need to be ready.
