The United States government is currently funding UNFPA’s lifesaving work at the highest levels ever and is one of the largest supporters of sexual and reproductive health care in humanitarian settings.

UNFPA provides lifesaving services in more than 150 countries around the world, and U.S. governmental funding directly supports:

• 13 mother and child health centers in Afghanistan.
• Health centers, mobile clinics, and safe spaces in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, home to 1 million Rohingya refugees.
• Maternity wards in Yemen, one of the world’s most dangerous places to be a mother.
