I sent this note to the team earlier about the state of our campaign. As one of our top supporters, I think you should see it.

With December coming to a close, we need to enter the new year with strong fundraising numbers in order to execute Wes’ vision for Maryland.

On January 7th at midnight, we have to shut down our ActBlue, and any contributions received after midnight, we’ll have to return — no exceptions. The reality is that we’re behind where we want to be.

Three months of not being able to fundraise will set us back if we don’t raise $20,000 by the end of the month. We need to build up our campaign’s reserves now to make sure we have the strongest quarter possible before the start of the legislative session in January.

So what comes next? We need to focus our efforts on raising $20,000 by December 31.
