John, I’m not going to lie, the last few months have been challenging. This year really shined a light on the uphill battle we face on many fronts – including electing women to higher offices.

The last thing I want to do right now is fundraise but I am realistic enough to know it is necessary. You see, midnight on Dec 31 will not only ring in the new year, but it’s also our FIRST public filing since the election.

The media is having a heyday spewing hot takes and analysis on the future of the Democratic party. Right now we have a choice to make – prove them right or dig deep and use this public filing as a moment to prove them wrong. What side are you on? [[link removed]]

A topline truth is early resources are needed to lay a firm foundation for 2026. Your dollars now go further than those donated the month before an election. Each dollar raised before midnight on December 31 will: 1. Be a concrete show of strength in the collective public filings for Democratic entities post-election.
2.
3. Provide entities like mine the ability to be on the frontlines combating the expansion of mis and disinformation at the start of the next Congressional session in January.
4.
5. Allow A Woman’s Place to evolve to meet this unique moment in branding, mission, and tactics. Our early 2025 resources will shape our strategic direction and provide us the bandwidth to activate immediately around early vulnerabilities for the Democratic party and our candidates nationwide.

I’ll level with you: I know we have work to do to meet this moment. And as much as that work is shared, elected officials like myself need to bear the brunt of it. It is on us to reflect, listen, reassess, and rebuild trust with you. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your dedication and patience in this process.

As much as my commitment to electing women is unwavering, I acknowledge that this moment in our country’s history may need a reassessed approach for Leadership PACs like A Woman’s Place.

I have said before that I take my position and leadership seriously, and that includes making sure my Leadership PAC rises to meet the moment.

So this is what I can realistically promise you: electing more women to office remains critical, but the next step in the fight is one we can’t yet predict. With the increased disinformation in the media, the Republican trifecta in our national government, and the rise of extremism in our communities — the path forward requires us to take on even more than electing women. It requires us to take a holistic approach.

We hope you’ll join us. Our fight doesn’t end but it must always adapt. Please donate today if you’re still with us and ready to adapt to meet the moment. [[link removed]]If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
