We live in a huge state with a highly diverse population spread across communities large and small. Here at Emerge New Mexico, we’re committed to recruiting and training Democratic women and nonbinary individuals from every corner of our state. It’s our mission to ensure our government looks like the folks it serves, at all levels — and as part of that goal, we’re on the ground in neighborhoods across New Mexico to help build the next generation of political leaders. Our success this year was a real bright spot in a tough election cycle for Democrats: we’re so proud of the over 40 Emerge New Mexico alums who won their races in November.
