A lot of news appears to be breaking here right at the end of the year. It's usually a quiet time when legislators are pulling together the bills we are introducing, but with a crisis at the border and multiple election integrity issues bubbling up, I have a lot to report on.
A scandal is breaking around disgraced Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes. It appears that this scandal is serious, and may weigh in to any impeachment hearing that is rumored to occur this session.
The scandal concerns the movement of Arizonans for election integrity.
By way of background, the AZ Supreme Court and the US Supreme Court already upheld the right of the citizens to question election results and procedures. It's not only a First Amendment right but it's also an important oversight role of the citizens.
Enter Kris Mayes, who has made it her role in life to abuse her post to persecute Arizona conservatives and anyone who dares utilize that First Amendment right.
The extreme Left NEVER cares about the Constitution or freedom.
Enter the bombshell scandal today.
The National Pulse reports:
Former Assistant Attorney General Jeff Clark has obtained documents linking the Arizona Attorney General’s office with the States United Democracy Center—a far-left non-profit lawfare group associated with attorney Norm Eisen, a key figure in President Donald J. Trump’s first sham impeachment.
The documents appear to be a retainer agreement from States United to advise the Arizona Attorney General’s office on lawfare aimed to suppress critics of how the state conducts its elections and those who might question the results.“This letter explains and confirms the terms and conditions under which States United Democracy Center (‘States United’) will undertake to advise the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (‘you’, ‘your’) in connection with developing legal strategies to ensure the integrity and security of elections,” the letter of understanding reads.
Although the primary attorneys assigned to coordinate with the attorney general’s office are redacted, the States United letter notes other attorneys or non-attorney staff with the lawfare non-profit “may handle various portions of this matter pro bono or otherwise…”
The letter confirming the partnership was sent just nine days before Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) secured a sprawling series of indictments against 18 individuals associated with President Trump over allegations they attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Notably, the grand jury empaneled by Mayes went much further than the Democrat attorney general intended, indicting both Trump campaign attorney Christina Bobb and Jenna Ellis—both of whom were told by Mayes’s office that they were not under investigation.
So Mayes was colluding with this extreme Left lawyer to sue Arizonans for utilizing their First Amendment rights to question the conduct of the elections.
This is EXACTLY what Communists do. They cheat, you can't question them, and they throw you in the gulag if you DO.
This is something we can act on. This is impeachable if true.
Mayes is an extremist nut. She has been abusing her office for political persecutions from Day One, and she now has her hand caught in the cookie jar.
This is the same person who vows to abuse her office to prevent the Trump Administration from rounding up and throwing out the illegals. She also is refusing to charge Gov. Hobbs with the corruption crimes we all know she is guilty of, in her own pay-to-play scandal.
Her unconstitutional abuse of authority knows no bounds.
This is something the legislature can address. We have the ability to impeach for this misconduct, and we have the ability to defund her office.
