The list of priorities for rural Americans is long. But that's what happens when Congress prioritizes extremism and culture wars over progress. So, it's time for Congress to move forward and build our future.
At One Country Project, we're fighting for rural Americans and what they want accomplished, like:
* A comprehensive Farm Bill that fully funds the biggest needs of farmers and rural communities
* Support for critical government services that make rural life possible, like reliable postal service
* Funds for housing and high-speed internet infrastructure so families, students, seniors, and small businesses can thrive in our communities
* A solid plan for rural clinics and hospitals, so rural healthcare can be strengthened
* Investments in critical infrastructure like roads, bridges, updated grids, and energy projects
It'll be up to us – and the community we're building – to hold Washington to account until we see action.
We are in a battle to ensure rural Americans are heard, because that is how progress is made. I know what it means to grow up in a small town — to come from rural America — and I will never stop fighting for our rural communities.
Our communities need a champion in Washington. One Country Project is a powerful voice for rural Americans, but we cannot do it alone. If you're with me, can you make an end-of-year contribution of $18 to One Country Project? Together, we can give a voice to rural communities across the United States. [[link removed]]
