There’s no question that our region should be an example for the rest of the country. Unfortunately, today’s Congress is led by extremists focused on advancing their fringe political agenda. They’ve shown little interest in caring about the people I represent. As a mother and an Angeleno, I'm worried about the future of our county. That's why as a legislator and activist, I'm stepping up to do something about it. In Congress, it’s my promise that every vote I make will be grounded in whether or not it truly meets the needs of this district - removing barriers to affordable housing and healthcare, combating climate change, fighting for good jobs, and defending the rights of our LGBTQ+ friends and family from far-right attacks.
