Hey there Dr. Michael O’Brien here! I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Director of Strategic Communications at Their Future Fund. Joining this incredible team alongside Annie and Renee to fight for the well-being of children in this country is an honor.

As a pediatrician, I see everyday the importance of giving our children the support and resources they need to thrive — and the toll it takes when they lack that support. That’s why as we head into the new year, I’m eager to build on the progress this team has already made and ensure children’s voices and needs remain at the forefront of policy decisions.

A little bit more about me- Annie and I met (on Twitter!) during her campaign for Congress. I was a vocal supporter of her work then and am happy to say our online friendship turned into a real friendship. I am so proud to stand with her in this fight to give children a voice in policymaking. Like Annie, I can’t sit idly by while our children face near insurmountable challenges. You will be hearing a lot more from me in the coming weeks and months but just know I am in this fight for the long haul.
